Use this site to access approved Zelle® marketing guidance, messaging, logos, and downloadable assets for customer communications. These resources are intended for organizations that reference Zelle® as an available payment option.
Terms
Businesses mentioning Zelle® in digital or print, including websites and/or marketing materials, must adhere to the standards and guidelines described herein. This webpage version is based on the uploaded Zelle® Style Guide and presents the core rules in a more reviewable format. It is intended to help reviewers understand what a public page could say and how it could be structured, including:
- Only use approved artwork and language
- No modification, distortion, or removal of logos and trademark indicators
- Keep use descriptive of the Zelle® service and non-misleading
Custom marketing content must be reviewed and approved by Early Warning Services, LLC prior to use. Custom content must be submitted to your financial institution to facilitate the review process. Use of unapproved content is prohibited.
Guidelines
The Registered Trademark Symbol ®
All mentions of Zelle® and the Zelle® network within copy should have a registered trademark.
The registered trademark symbol identifies the Zelle® marks as being officially registered by Early Warning Services, LLC. The symbol should not be used for any unregistered marks.
The ® symbol is built into the logo and should not be removed, altered, or otherwise modified.
Proper trademark use requires that registered trademarks (such as Zelle®):
- Should never be used as plurals or in the possessive form unless the mark is plural or possessive as registered
- Should never be used as a verb or common noun (i.e., “Zelle® me the money”)
- Should never be used as part of a fabricated word (i.e., ”Zelle-abration”)
Trademark Disclosure
The trademark notice needs to appear where the Zelle® brand appears.
Zelle, the Zelle related marks, and the color purple are registered trademarks or otherwise claimed by Early Warning Services, LLC.
Approved Messaging
The following phrases may be used along with the Zelle® logo. Select the messaging most appropriate for your individual business. Note that “Zelle®” should always start with a capital “Z” and the rest of the word should be lowercase.
Receiving Payments (i.e. a corporate disbursement):
- Sign up to receive money with Zelle®.
- Receive payments with Zelle®.
- Get paid with Zelle®.
- Receive money directly into your account with Zelle®.
- With Zelle®, money goes directly into your account.
- Zelle® is fast and easy.
Sending Payments (i.e. to a business):
- I accept Zelle® payments.
- Zelle® payments accepted here.
- Send money with Zelle®.
- Send money directly from your bank account using Zelle®.
- Zelle® is fast and easy.
Transferring Money Between Owned Accounts:
- Transfer money with Zelle®.
- Use Zelle® to transfer money into your account.
- Move money directly between accounts with Zelle®.
The Zelle® Logo
The Zelle® logo has been added to a background, creating a “badge” and must always appear with the registration symbol (“®”), sizing, padding, and colors indicated below.

- Minimum width x height: 53 (w) px x 31 (h) px
- When using the Zelle® badge for any consumer facing material, follow the minimum height and width requirements.
- Allow the background to extend to maintain the integrity of the badge design.

The minimum clear space for the Zelle® badge is 1/4 of the height of the badge on all sides and corners.
Background Color
Provide sufficient contrast when the Zelle® badge is used on light, dark, white or colored backgrounds.

- Do not create a new, unapproved version of the Zelle® badge.
- Do not alter the Zelle® badge in any way.
- Do not adjust the aspect ratio, corner radius or width of the Zelle® badge.
- Do not add visual effects, including shadows, glows, or reflections.
- Do not flip, rotate, stretch or animate the Zelle® badge.
- Never remove the registration symbol (“®”) from the logo.

1 Zelle® is available in over 2,400 banking and credit union apps. To send or receive money with Zelle®, both parties must have an eligible checking or savings account. Transactions sent to enrolled users typically occur within minutes. Check with your financial institution.
